DLC Investor LLC was first established in 1963 under the name 'The Investment Office'. In 1974, in keeping with the company’s strategy to raise its profile and expand its investment activities, it was renamed 'DLC Investor LLC Investment' . Shortly after, in January 1980, following its accelerated growth and expansion curve, the company was re-branded as DLC Investor LLC.

Through its subsidiaries and affiliates, the Group’s areas of operation span the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region, the European Union (EU), North America and Asia.

Through its subsidiaries and affiliates, DLC Investor LLC has business interests in 27 countries and has financed over 2,678 investors and small busuniesses. Spearheaded by the Executive Chairman of DLC Investor LLC, Sheikh Tahir , strengthened by a team of some the industry’s finest minds, and driven by its global strategy, DLC Investor LLC creates and manages a diverse selection of direct and indirect investments in different parts of the world.
